A few months ago, we were approached by our local Royal Bournemouth Hospital to see if we’d be willing to donate any furniture to complete their new outdoor Lavender Garden project.
Senior Trading Manager, David, discusses the benefits of eco-friendly recycled plastic furniture with HRH Prince Charles
Curved Benches line a beautiful, spiralled seating area
Celebrating the lives of two friends and colleagues who had passed away too soon during the pandemic, The Lavender Garden turned a previously disused atrium into an oasis for staff.
Funded by donations to the University Hospital Dorset NHS Charity, we were thrilled to be able help our local hospital and donated all the furniture they needed to complete their garden.
Then the most unexpected and amazing thing happened. On 6 May, two of our wonderful team were asked to attend the garden’s grand opening and had the honour of meeting HRH Prince Charles, himself – a renowned champion of sustainability for over 50 years – telling him all about the eco-friendly benefits of our recycled plastic furniture.
It was a pleasure to support such a great cause for our local hospital, and we sincerely hope that all the staff at Royal Bournemouth Hospital thoroughly enjoy relaxing in the garden for many years to come.
